Welcome to our monthly update. 

We hope you're enjoying the summer, getting your favorite games to your table with friends and family. 

This is a short update, encouraging everyone to go through your backerkit survey and complete your pledge. If you didn't receive the backerkit email or any of the reminders, or if there's unresolved issues with your returning backer complementary credit, please send us an email at [email protected], and we'll help you out.

Pledge Manager Live

Drum roll please... the pledge manager is live and you should all receive an invite within the next hours. Keep an eye on your inbox (or spam folder).

Pledge Manager FAQ

How do i change my pledge level?

There are two places, where you can change your pledge; either before you click continue when clicking the invite link, using the little "switch pledge level" link; or when you arrive at the add-on screen, where you can click on your email and then "switch pledge level".

Where's my Early Bird booster pack?

It's listed in your add-on menu in backerkit. If you pledged for the All-in Gluttony pledge, we've converted your booster pack to a €9 complementary credit, as the pack is already included in your pledge.

Where's my returning backer upgrade credit?

If we've successfully matched your previous pledge with your new pledge; we've added a €19 complementary credit to all returning backers, who pledge a triple or above pledge level.

Hello backers,

Quick update: Here it is, the storage box votes, either B (orange) or C (cyan). But, there's a problem; we are so close again, with nine votes on C (cyan) and eight votes on B (orange).

Therefore, the obvious solution is to make both, but on the same sleeve; one side will show the B (orange) artwork, and the other side will show the C (cyan) artwork. So, whatever you prefer, turn the box around.

We'll return with a new update as soon as our pledge manager is approved by backerkit.

Development Status: June

Hello backers,

We are so close now, almost on the verge of opening up backerkit. I know you can not wait to finalize your pledge, but we have to make sure that everything is in order, as it's difficult to fix errors once payments have been processed. We've completed all the steps and are now awaiting backerkit approval on all the critical settings, before starting the smoke test.

Pledge Overview: As shared on our facebook group and discord, Stephanie made a break down of the different pledge levels and their content.

Do read our previous update on the new increased box sizes to accommodate all the unlocked content. They look astonishing! We've also added box sleeves, and Darryl is making an extraordinary additional cover for the artwork beneath the sleeves.

Based on all your previous votes, you've decided; changing the playmats from 3x2 to 6x1; changing the box slip-case to a new 360° panorama artwork. Thank you all for making your voice heard. We appreciate your time and interest in co-developing the SINS universe and product series.

Revote: For the Chaotic Realms storage-box artwork, your votes are almost 50/50 between B (orange) & C (cyan), with a few ambiguous votes leaning both ways. Therefore, though we also have our preference, we'd like you all to vote between only B & C.

While we've been tinkering with backerkit, we've also gone into the final stages of development, and will continue into pre-production within a few months, getting validation on our technical specifications. We'll keep you up to date from month to month as we progress from development to production to logistics, with a Monthly Update (posted near the end of the month +/- a few days).

Dear backers,

Once again, we are so grateful for all your support during the campaign. And what an amazing campaign, with so much content unlocked and stretch goals reached. We are so happy for your interest in the SINS universe.

This is going to big a big post about playmats; slipcase panorama; storage box design, and bigger boxes.

So let's get started...

We have a few things that we'd like to get your opinion on. Please make your voice heard in the comments below, and help us make the best choice.

Bigger Boxes & Box Sleeves...

The first thing we need to show is the bigger boxes. Yes, since we unlocked so much content, we needed to resize the boxes (and the slipcase to hold all four boxes) to accommodate all the miniatures. Each box is approx. twice as big (32x32x10 cm / 12.6x12.6x3.94 inches).

Stephanie, our creative mastermind, has been working tirelessly on creating a few renders (pending final adjustments). But there's more. We decided to make a unique addition to the Kickstarter version, giving all boxes a beautiful sleeve.

That also gave us an opportunity to get Darryl, the brilliant artist behind the SINS art, to do more artwork for the box-cover underneath (work in progress). The sleeve is gonna be high gloss and the box underneath is going to be matt with an amazing UV spot finish, making the artwork literally shine as shown on the campaign page.

Storage Layout?

For the forth storage box, we need your help deciding between these three layouts. Help us choose in the comments below. The fourth storage box (added in all slipcase pledges) will store promos, the realm playmat and future expansions.

Slipcase Panorama?

One side of the boxes shown above will have the season number and the season artwork. The other side will be part of a panorama. That way, you can choose if you want your slipcase to feature information or panorama. But, our question today is, should we stick with the collage featured on the Kickstarter campaign or should we get Darryl to do a unique 360° panorama for the slipcase. See attached example from our upcoming Cthulhu Island game, where Darryl made an amazing 360° panorama for the core box.

Playmats?

We've heard many backers wanting unique playmats in each box instead of duplicates. So we have a solution. We have a total of six playmats across all boxes (not counting the big realm playmat). That number is the same as available realms in the sins lore/universe. So, please vote between keeping the current playmat setup (3 unique variants, each in two copies) or using the realm artwork (6 unique variants).
